Seattle Boat Show in Washington Hosts One of the Fastest Jet Sprint Boats on the Water

A little green gem stood out in the Seattle Boat Show at the Qwest Field Event Center in Washington. When it hits the water it pulls 7 G- Forces around corners but on dry land Wicked Racing’s Jet Sprint boat pulls consumers to the booth.

“We had a video playing in the Armstrong Marine booth with the sound of our boats at the races,” said Don Zozosky, Wicked Racing Team Marketing Manager. “People walked away from million dollar yachts and over to see us. I think a lot of the boat vendors were miffed at the amount of traffic our twelve foot two inch boat generated.”

The sales staff from the million dollar yacht booths eventually came over too,” said Dan Morrison, Wicked Racing Team Owner and Pilot. “At one point, I thought we would get Best in Show.”

Wicked Racing signed thousands of autographs and handed out as many Jet Sprint Boat Racing Schedules for 2009. They will kick off the season at an invitation only event along the Rogue River in Grants Pass, Oregon.

In 2008, No. 10 Wicked Racing Team earned the National Finalist Championship win in the United Sprint Boat Association Racing Series. “We dominated the series last year,” said Morrison. “I don’t think anyone will be able to catch us in 2009.” In the Jet Sprint Boat series, racers and their navigators have to right corner at least 32 times in less than a minute through a maze of islands. “Our course is by memory,” he said. “It’s quick, fast and dirty.”

“We use K&N air and oil filters,” said Morrison. “K&N is the reason we are in the Winner’s Circle often. K&N protects our engines from the slough water and gives us additional horsepower every time we race.”

The first race of the season kicks off June 20 in St. John, Washington and Wicked Racing is more than ready. “We will have a new state of the art super boat on our team,” said Morrison. “We put a target on our back by being so fast in 2008. I believe everyone will want a piece of us this year.”
