"I feel like we have a better team than we did the first time, because we have great partners like FVP and K&N backing us. It is pretty special to win one with our own team though," remarked Brown.

Brown entered the race at Knoxville with an 81 point lead. However, the weekend before he was taken out on the first lap of the feature, and it drove home the point that in racing anything can happen.

"It was a long week after rebuilding the car," said Brown. "Chad (Morgan), Kelby (Hopkins) and all the guys did a great job, as always. I really don't like points racing until November when you get your check. Eighty points seems like a lot, but it really isn't. You don't try to think about it, but you can't help it either."

Just taking the checkered on Saturday at Knoxville, knowing that we were champions, was very special," said Brown. "A lot of work goes into the race team from my crew and it takes a lot of commitment to win races and championships."

Brown and his team won't be celebrating, or resting idle on their laurels for too long, there are still 20 races left on their 2010 schedule. "No rest for the weary," added Brown.
