Bill McAnally Racing announced that Julia Landauer will join the team's lineup in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West for 2016. Julia Landauer is a multiple-time champion racecar driver originally from New York City, and now settled in North Carolina. Julia has raced every season since she was 10 years old. At the age of 13, she began competing in the Skip Barber Racing series and the following year became the first female champion in the history of the series, scoring 12 wins.

Her racing resume also includes Formula BMW in 2007, Ford Focus Midgets in 2008, and late model events with BMR in 2009, select late model races at South Boston (Virginia) Speedway in 2010/2011, as well as partial seasons in Legend cars from 2012 to 2014. In 2015, at 23 years old, Julia got her NASCAR license and became the first female NASCAR Track Champion in the Limited Late Model division at Motor Mile Speedway.

In addition to racing, Landauer kept busy away from the track. She graduated from Stanford University in 2014, with a bachelor's degree in science, technology and society. During that same time period she became a cast member on the CBS television series "Survivor: Caramoan" in 2012. Julia made it to day 19 before being eliminated in the season that aired in early 2013.

Landauer is an advocate for women in sports and in education in the field of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through her STEM background from college, Julia continues to educate and advocate for the support and advancement of women in STEM fields. She hopes to expose the technical world of racing to those interested in engineering careers. As she climbs the NASCAR ladder Julia hopes to use her racing platform to continue advocating for women in sports and STEM, for education, and for following your dreams despite the hurdles.

Landauer will be making her debut in the K&N Pro Series as she launches into her rookie season in 2016.The first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race of 2016 will be the Jet Tools 150 at the 1/2 mile oval of New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on Valentine's Day 2016. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will begin its season a little later with the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by Bill McAnally Racing at Irwindale Speedway in California on March 19, 2016.
